The search continues in the $ 254.2 million Powerball jackpot winning ticket for the November 2, 2011 drawing – the largest prize ever won in Connecticut Lottery history.

Lottery officials confirm that the winning ticket was sold in Fairfield County. Further details will not be available until the winner comes forward to unprecedented demand.

The winning numbers on November 2 were 12, 14, 34, 39 and 46, with Powerball number 36. The Power Play multiplier was number 4.

Connecticut Lottery encourages everyone to check their tickets carefully and sign the back of the ticket to establish ownership. Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim a winning ticket. The winning tickets POWERBALL drawing will expire on November 2 April 30, 2012.

The retailer who sold the winning Powerball winning ticket will receive a bonus of $ 100,000 from the Connecticut Lottery.
